Pink Martini are coming to Sofia on October 16

On October 16, 2013 the American band Pink Martini will come to Sofia to present their new album Get Happy. Band’s fans will enjoy the album Get Happy in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture (NDK), from 8 p.m. on.

Pink Martini will arrive for their concert in Bulgaria only three weeks after the world premiere of their new album.
The event in Sofia event is part of the band’s world tour, dedicated to Get Happy. For the concert in Bulgaria there will be a little orchestra of 18 musicians, led by the group’s founder Thomas Lauderdale.

The upcoming event will be a real treat and will bring fans back to the times of the cool costumes from the first half of the 20th century, walking them around different parts of the world through various genres.

For more than 20 years Pink Martini creates life-asserting, communicative and positive music that has been amusing, entertaining and inspiring music lovers from all over the world. The American band is famous for the engaging mix of classical, jazz, lounge, pop and latino elements in their performances.

The emotional charge of Pink Martini’s performance will be complemented by the romance of the 30s, the sweet nostalgia for a bygone era as well as by their universal message, touching everyone present and making the audience dance and smile.
