HORIZON FESTIVAL: Where Electronic beat touches the slopes of Pirin

In march the beautiful town of Bansko hosts a brand new winter festival

where electronic music and ski enthusiasts will enjoy the beat

on the perfect snow-covered Pirin slopes.

What do you think a UNESCO World Heritage site has to do with electronic music? Well, a lot, at least in March, when Horizon festival brings more than 40 artists from the world of Dubstep, 80s House, Techno, Hip Hop etc. to buzz the fresh mountain air in Bansko.

This electronic music festival is organized for the first time in Bulgaria, giving what all electronic music lovers probably have ever dreamt of: 24/7 electronic vibes combined with great skiing and snowboarding opportunities, plus, as the organizers put it, “beautiful beer prices”. Jack Robinson, one of the founders of the popular Outlook and Dimensions festivals, is the curator of Horizon Festival and Tom Pshedzhemirski, a.k.a Tommy Gun from True Badness, is the co-organizer of the event.

The idea of the Horizon festival is clear-cut and grabbing. It is to join together winter sports activities with the pleasure of excellent party experience. Read more our interview: AN INSIGHT INTO HORIZON FESTIVAL IN BANSKO
